Frequently asked questions.

How much do you charge for therapy?

I am in network with some insurance plans (United Health Care and Optum) and take their contracted rates. How much you pay per session will depend on your plan.

For those not in network I charge the following fees. Additionally, I offer clients a superbill (detailed receipt) which allows them to seek partial reimbursement for services from their insurance provider. Most insurance providers will consider me as an out-of-network provider.

Intake session: $185

Ongoing individual therapy and couples therapy: $165

Group therapy: $80

How long do sessions last?

A typical therapy session lasts between 50-55 minutes.

How often will we have sessions?

During our first session we determine together how regularly or often we will meet. Typically, I recommend meeting weekly as research indicates that more regular meetings are associates with gains and progress in treatment outcomes. However, everyone’s needs in therapy are unique.

Do you offer in person sessions?

Currently, I do not offer in person sessions. I offer online therapy in a variety of states. All my services are offered through a secure video-chat system online.

I live in another state, can I see you through online sessions?
